I'm pumped for my first real remix contest...even if I don't win (very big possibility of that), I'm happy that I just was able to take part in it.
Tell me how I did :)
EDIT: Added some synth sounds, generally cleaned things up, changed the mix.
EDIT no. 2: changed up the beginning a bit, added a bit of white noise, lowered the drums, changed the detune on one of the Heisenbergs.
Added a quiet noise cymbal.
Quieted the quiet noise cymbal.
Loudened the quiet noise cymbal.
Quieted it again.
Made it a bit louder again.
Got frustrated at the quiet noise cymbal.
Questioned the actual definition of a quiet noise cymbal.
Decided to call it a cymbal.
Changed mind and called it a symbol.
Angrily walked away from the computer because Wikipedia said a symbol wasn't a cymbal.
Fumed while believing I was right, and Wiki was wrong.
Realised Wiki was right, and I was wrong.
Cried in a corner because I don't know how to deal with failure.
EDIT no. 3: Changed up the mix so it sounds more acceptable.
Still crying on the inside.
EDIT no. 4: Added siren, changed mix again, messed with EQs a bit, tell me how the new mix sounds.
LAST (Wip) EDIT: Messed with the mix a bit.
FINAL EDIT: Gave the mix more strength, fixed a volume problem, I'll fix it one more time if it's too loud. (or if it sounds like crap.)

You are hilarious. Great mix. For some advice, follow RNZR's advice. Miximizing the wf is never a good sign. But awesome mix overall.

ugg GooglE changed my meaning of some words
"the Melody should be louder then that Long notes /pads/bass" should be
the Melody should be louder then "THE" Long notes' /pads /bass

this sounds like you put a great deal of work into it I agree with RNZR back off the Compression a tad so it does not puls Quite so hard. Try just using the Stock setting on the compressor to side chain :) the Melody should be louder then that Long notes /pads/bass i would slightly bring the vol down on those and the melody up with a shorter release :) great work though the comp is really nice

like the gritty bass, but, its way to compressed and too loud (take a look at the waveform, if its that maximized, something is mostly not right)

No its alright. Theres still the whole composing aspect of it :D that takes alot of skill :D
Like the "whale sounds" :D
and the pluck synths at 0:47 :D
i can email you a whole load of percussion samples if you want :D
theyre a bit heavier than this, but with a bit of EQing theyd sound good in whatever :D

unfortunately, they are Audiotool samples...I suck at making my own, so I have to use others...oh well :P

I listened to all the Remix's of this trackk today. Andd i think your and FBS's remix are the best.
The drum samples in this are so nice. My internet is slow atm, so ii cant click remix. So are these yyour samples? or audiotool library samples?
cos i wanna know where to find them :D
oh and with everyy republish it sounds so much better :D
