I've been going through some old projects and found this one from about 4 years ago. The basic melody and beat was already good, so I decided to update it. The chorus brings to mind some later New Order stuff.

I made the rain sound all thanks to some cracking and snapping twig samples I found. It took a while but I randomly placed them in layers and merged it all. I was having a hard time simulating rain, I hope this tip helps out a little.
