this will allow you to see where your sounds are too high and what sounds may be too low. if those red dots are lighting up, that means you are clipping. There's a lot to know, but if you have any questions, please post them on my wall and I'd be happy to offer any advice that I can, or I'd even be willing to go live with you for a few minutes to show you hands-on. Please keep practicing and writing :) stay classy, san fran!
The bass TONE is nice, but the volume is a bit much. this ties into your boosting, I can see from the snapshot that you have one curve with almost a maxed out high end boost, and the opposite on the low end. I'm guessing this is what is making your high percussion break up/clip. you may want to reduce those a little.
last thing is, try putting a curve or Quantum between your centroid and your finaloutput tool, and set it to post so you can see a visual representation of your track as a whole.
wow this is almost the exact same album cover as our track Convergence

Okay, first note before I even play this, I'm noticing the stark differences in height of your waveform. This is probably because you used a loop and it may have been a bit compressed. you may want to turn down the db's on your EQ/Curve gains, and make your peaks skinnier, so you can tweak very specific frequency ranges, as I feel you are boosting too much here.
