Alright, LETS CELEBRATE!!! *does a little dance* actually i suck at dancing...and singing...
Anyways, THANKS TO YOU ALL FOR 200 FOLLOWERS!!!
Yet again, i am astounded by how many of you have clicked that little button under my name in my page :3
Okay, now on to the track...originally it was going to be a song i made after i watched a Deadmau5 stream in Youtube, but after a while, i got into thinking about my older milestones. The 50th was Techno-ish, the 100th was Acid Techno and the 150th was Minimal Techno...
So, there were only 2 genres i havent made: Ambient and Ambient Techno. For sure, the last milestone was going to be the latter, so i decided this one to be the former...
THIS is NOT a song for one to jump and dance to (unless you really want to) but this instead begs that you wind down and listen to it carefully, as there might be hidden sounds and melodies in the background that hide in plain sight.
All sound were made with one Pulv, the only effects used were the Delay and Reverb for depth and ambiance. This is something different for me too, i added notes in differing positions within a bar, using 1/32 and 1/64 notes. The velocity was key in success, i had to almost micro-tweak the velocities for the notes in order to get a sort of note gain, which helped with the sound.
All in all, i like how it turned out...a little repetitive, but its more a song to put in the background and let be. The EQing might be a it off, but im sure it helped bring some frequencies out...
This song never ceases to amaze me... the chords and sounds are so complex and entwine with each other and creates such a calm and beautiful effect especially with the chords. This is truly a masterpiece of tranquillity and I could listen to it all day... Not a joke. And all made with one synth!
wow, playing with velocity - cool! this is great work - i may have to look into this one. don't be surprised by by your following - your skills continue to sharpen and you're not scared to experiment. not to mention, you're a supportive member of the community. :)
