Rehashing some old hat.
This was one of my earliest tracks and I've always felt it needed to have a little more time spent on it. What was supposed to be a quick clean up with maybe a pad added turned into a month long journey. The ending didn't really go where I had planned, but i ended up with some cool resonance that I'm really happy with, so I guess it worked out. :) Cheers!!!

Thanks opaqity. I don't think that the hats translated as well to the new version, but i can't think of any other way to do them after hearing them that way for around two years haha. Maybe I'll do some experimenting.:

I think... the lack of character and spirit in the hi-hats does take away from the track though, I would add some variation if you're still up for making changes :)

I think out of this entire track, that dark, brooding finish is just the best.
not to say this whole thing isn't awesome, though. very atmospheric.

E-trim, Is it Up the Beach maybe? definitely has a bit of a jane's sound. Slightly off key and lots of delay.
