Right off the bat, the sub is *not* too strong, so points there. You have nice chords and a good melody to complement them, with that delayed resolution at the end to keep us on our toes. I like that. I also really like that you weren't afraid to let this get quiet. As for critique, the percussion doesn't feel like it fits with the rest of the sounds. Especially at
0.52
, where it suddenly disrupts the flow we had until that point.
By choosing percussion rhythms that play around a little more, or by changing up the rhythms in your synths, you can bring in a little interplay to help those sections stand out more.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but consider that the half-tempo beat you use is often open like that to highlight a part of a song that has a different characteristic, to let that show through. You alter the timbre of your synths where the percussion is strongest, but the harmonic qualities, rhythmic qualities, and melodic qualities are fairly similar to what we hear in the other sections.
This also falls into the same problem that a lot of songs fall into here, where the looping chord progression doesn't get anything to break it up at all, so by the end it's starting to feel a little worn out. Having a section with different chords and a different melody would help break that up. Also, consider that when your chords are straight ahead eighths, there isn't much chance for rhythmic variation.
