Im headed in the right direction....
This is my attempt at dub maybe a bit to much idk but i tired
i walked into GameStop today after i got out of the ER and was talkin to dude at the counter and told him i produced my own stuff his question to me was "like do you make old dubstep or the new aged dubstep" i was like do huh you mean like UK scene dub? and he was like "YEAH YEAH THATS IT" i had to be honest and told him no not really good at that had a few drafts but never actually finished any.... so on my way home after buying a mario game i decided i was going to create a dub track well here it is i tried.... hope its ok???
and i realize the melody is pretty repetitive but i felt there was only so much i could do to keep it minimal and so i tried to focus on the effects more so then anything.... let me know what ya think may need to boost that subbass a bit more idk or drop it an octave....

Good try, I think you need to get more of a melody for the bass, as for the leads you've got some interesting sounds, another tip with dub is to try putting heavy reverb on everything (apart from the lower frequency sounds). Also think about eq-ing everything as some of the sounds cover a large dynamic range, so for example I'd use a hi-pass filter on that distorted wobble like sound so that there's no bass to it (but leave it with some mid-range still).

thanks man i suck at making DUB but i tried i wish someone who knew about dub would tell me what to work on in this i got dubstep but dub is different and i think this got caught up in between the two

younger my friends was doing electronic music ok not a friends someone i met 6 time more then 50 cassette yeah i am old anyway now he is working for disney world doing drawing you never know where you will end up ....that guy travel more then 8hours to come in a small town to do skatebord ..my friends ramp was on the 2 floor of a old garage beautiful spot sadly all gone to much drunk to take picture now only memories left ...
