You and your team of historians are almost calling it quits as they search in Antarctica for what was fabled to be there. Everybody is getting cold, supplies are low, and you are too far out to make a safe journey back. Just then, out of the corner of your eye, you spot it. A giant grey monolith like structure, just on the edge of the blizzard's transparency. You follow the sight, the team on your tail, gaining hope with every step. As you get closer, more and more structures appear on either sides of the first. And then, you stop. Building after building, small and tall, what can only be assumed, to be in a huge manhattan sized bundle. You catch your breath. You have found it... the lost city.
I don't really care if I win or not, at this point. I really like what came out of it.
I normally don't identify with most things which I find by randomly wandering about Audiotool (almost always worth the trip/effort, tho), including much of the ranked stuff. I found this by accident. I was using the built-in player to move through my tracks, and a turn left on my last track led me to this. And this, man, is great on so many levels. The slowly-intensifying arpeggios building up tension, with the same melody keeping the tone going. And then the break into the second part, bravo!
