That bass feels unfitting IMO. The funk stills stays fresh though!
What if I told you....
that a simple square bass with a little C modulation + exciter would be better for a bass.

everything else is perfect though :) the bass synth sounds betta, and eqing is quite good

really messy. sorry jake, its just the beginning seems to high, period. the bass guitar in the beginning is like 3 octaves too high, and conflicts with the lead that comes in at 0.19
