So, this is a bummer. Yes, as ironic as it seems, I have hearing loss. The first issue is that I can't hear bass frequencies anymore. That's right, ANYMORE. If a sound is less than 150Hz, I can't hear it. Above 12kHz my ears sting, and they hurt. From 400Hz onwards everything goes soft for me. My left hears stuff louder than my right, and both are hearing stuff softer to different degrees, which sucks. It's really demoralising, especially since I'm dreaming to become a professional music producer. And here I was planning on making a surprise return for AT Day. But if I can't even mix my tracks, or hear what the f*** I'm making, then what's the point? I can't have fun while producing anymore, because that's like cooking as a chef, with no sense of taste. Yeah sure, Bethoveen was deaf, but unlike him, I'm not no prodigy. All in all, it's just really, really demoralising to make music now, knowing what you make will just be trash. I can't even hear my voice properly when I speak. I really, really, and I mean REALLY don't wanna leave AT, or stop making music in general, after all it's my passion. But god F"""""" damn it.
I know I'm late to this but... damn. I'm really sorry man. But from what I've been hearing of your music, you still produce some amazing stuff that I could only hope to produce like one day. Don't let this get in your way, you've got big things coming for you. :)
Your are not another Beethoven, you are Icebox. Hearing loss really is an unfortunate thing; I perhaps have came across it in a few instances. It is going to take a lot to power through and accept this reality, but do not close yourself off to possibilities.

I wish the best for your sense of hearing, and your psyche. Even if you unfortunately succumb to the worst of it, find inspiration around you to keep moving onward. There are way more amazing musicians that have hearing loss than...
