remix comp ends at the end of june
rules: using your own samples or samples in general is aloud :) so dont worry about that.
make sure theres some sounds and patterns from the original track.
tampering with drums, samples, etc. is aloud
however changeing the orignal synths will count against u

trolling is aloud. however i do not reccomend it.
it wont help get u in first place :/
top 3 placed requirements
1st place: really creative and enginuitive (bassicly something that will blow my mind) sounds from the original track. did very well at mixing and mastering the track. not off beat by the slightest.
didnt tamper with synths.
2nd: a little messy but had a really great idea or feel behind it. changed the synths slightly. did okay on mixing and mastering. but still wowed me
3rd: made somthing completely different from the original. and had a little bit of the sounds from the original track here and there. but was still pretty good to say the least.

Only 13 days? During college finals? (well at least where I am) I think you should extend the due date to your competition the end of June. That would be plunty of time for people to find it and a few to make some great entries.
