Recreating Virtual Riot

I made this back in April when he started a track on a livestream. I thought it would be fun to recreate it in AT.

He has since published a full version of the track.

    wait rq... how do you make those ghost like kicks? around 0:56 ?

      I cut the transient from the kick sample on the kicks I wanted to be ghost kicks. (The transient, in case you are unaware, is the very beginning of the sound. It is a very short click that gives a drum sample its punch in the mix.)

    I hated the original draft, the vocal lead seems to make no melodical sense, but this is still a p nice remake, nonetheless.

    This is so good, I watched the stream and it sounds just like the thing (well, a bit different and the vocal chops but yeah). Also, Virtual Riot is my fav producer, glad to see someone here who likes him too :D
