Process: find melody with an unusual instruments: flute and marimba combinaison, add reverb and spacing to make them interacting like a "dialog", ask and answer. Use a volatile instrument to accompagn the melody: a violin type instrument with good reverb and chorus in order to instal a specific atmosphere, like a big and natural atmospher, witch is added by bird samples and a little rain sample with a lot of spacing and reverb like a natural background. Add a rhodes arpegiator behind all of those and the drum are not the most important, need a little bounce and unusual sample, like weird noise, wind, door samples... It was a really fun process, but i still don't know the genre...
