  yes! for drums mainly, you can use the machiniste, and make your own rhythms with "one shot" drum samples that you can choose. And for melodies, use the heisenberg or pulverisateur synths. You can make melodies by hand, and then use presets for sounds or you can change the synth to your liking. I know this sounds confusing, but play around with it for a bit, and once you get more and more used to it, your music will very much improve!
