  • Man I can't believe I missed this song, drums go crazy tho as usual

  • 04:42 - Man this moment just runs me over like a truck. It's just so damn good. Just a beautiful moment that shows that this grand journey is coming to an end and that there is hope for a better tomorrow. Everything in this song is just exquisite. Well done retro! <3

    • Thank you man <3

For a little while that was actually the end of the track,

but it felt a bit incomplete, so I added another little part to get us to the outro

and finally back to the chords from the Morse code part.

  • Yo do you play drums? Because if so i can tell. If not, very impressive drum parts were written here :D

    • Thank you man :)

      appreciate it

    • Well my drummer self approves haha. Sounds awesome man!

    • only a little

i can play some grooves and stuff but i wouldn't call myself a drummer

  • Are you proud of this? If not, you should be. The level of intricacy within each section is pure artistry. It takes a lot of skill to pull off the frequency control with everything going on simultaneously, you nailed this. One of my new favorite tracks.

    • +1

    • Thank you <3

honestly initially my answer would have probably been no.

I am rarely proud of anything I do,

but I know I'm being way too hard on myself and I try to work on that.

    • Well said

  • a true, sonic journey

    The Hideki Naganuma of AT

    3:37 has my love

  • this is great it’s like 80s film scores remixed yet it’s super original at the same time. great harmonic progressions and the nasty drum groove coming in at the end is such a tasteful curveball to throw, would never think of doing that w this style but it works so well . great stuff!

    • really appreciate it man

  • love that 5 groove @ 3:33

    <3

  • Every movement could be is own song. Camel would be be so proud of this.

  • that lead fucks

  • happy ahh tune

  • What a cool experience! Love how this kind of acts like a small rhapsody, where all the parts kinda do their own thing, while maintaining connective tissue! Great work!

  • groovy as always!
