The amount of scientific progress we have so far would have been at least tripled, maybe exponentiated by 10, if it weren't for nonsense wars and dumb clashes. National borders could have been stable, predictable, calm. People wouldn't be removed from the living world, especially people who would have sped scientific advancement along significantly. A lot of things could have happened that were ahead of their time, and we'd be colonizing another planet by now. It's not just wars that set us back thousands of years. Slavery, crime, civil disturbances, censorship, drugs, alcohol, gangs, colonization, scams, planned obsolescence. The list goes on and on for miles. Conclusion: The entire human race is stupid and anti-science, with a few individuals here and there that actually have decent minds and tastes.
