This Week, I got into a real novel: "The Bone Season." (I can't do underline/italics.) I read from page 17 to 112 as of thursday, and I haven't yet read for Thursday. I estimate a total of around 110-115 pages.

This is another repetitive song, I know, but you'll hear that the tune gets progressively chpped up and creepier/stranger. This is representing Paige's conversion from Scion to the Rephiate's "lair" aka Oxford. The tsong becomes choopde up, partly representing the confusion of being held by Rephiam, and partly because of how she was given flux. A few minor notice and note signposts I saw were some tough questions.

1.Paige just found Warden injured, and has the choice of saving him or killing him. She wants to kill him so badly, but she knows that she'll just be killed by the other Rephiam when they find out. Also, she remembers the feeling she got wehn she killed the guard, and didn't want to replicate that. She chose to save him. Who knows? Maybe she made a good choice; maybe Warden will help her in the future.

2. She was forced to choose between killing Seb and dying. She chose dying, but she (understandebly) wants to live, too. Soon, she gets caught, and HAS to choose. She tries to choose herself, but the Rephiam kill Seb anyway and let her...live? What? I thought they wanted to get her soul...
