so seeing as the top track on the charts last week was a sample trap song, i decided to take the sample that they used and make a track entirely made out of it
i failed pretty bad lmao
in the end i needed to get drums and the 808 bass elsewhere, but other than that, the ambiance, main synth, bass pluck, yoy bass, and everything else you hear is from that piano sample
this was pretty fun, i might try something like this again

im not saying that mastering isn't important. it definitely is. but based on this track i would focus more on the sounds and then clean it up

i kinda learned from that that a yoy is the easiest bass to make from a sample, since you can have a rally ugly starting sound but it wont be noticeable after the bitcrushing
