I know the feeling, I am constantly hearing things from others users in here that make me step back and rethink my approach. Thanks for taking the time to offer up some feedback, I sincerely appreciate it.
Listening through again, i don't think you should tone anything down. I think it just struck me odd, but it's really a problem with me and not the track. I've gotten used to it listening through a couple times. I got too used to typical percussion and that's just wrong of me as a listener. I need to expand my horizons again :).
Thanks a lot guys. I spent some time importing some of my own vocoder and synth tracks for this one. Arche, what clicking noise are you talking about, the camera flash noise of the wood block? I could tone it down easily.
Awesome sound! The beat takes you through a nice sonic journey - I especially like the layered melodies. the click or whatever it is seems weird to me, but it doesn't really take away from the overall track. Good job!
