I heard the original japanese 1000 by 682 and fell in love with the obvious genius going on inside the head of that original artist. This isn't a collab, but just sort of a remix/remaster of the original. I thought it needed a little Zir0h love, and so I administered 12 cc's of 'outstanding but improving' promptly. I personally don't feel like it's as good as it could be, and I'd love to hear any and all feedback from anyone willing to give it!
I want this to sound as good as possible, so don't be shy! :)
Anyway, I hope that this impresses the original artist enough that they continue to work with me :3
I hope you all enjoy this track! Stay tuned, and stay classy <3
I guess if I had to give some constructive criticism, I would say that I think the 808 should be louder. I like the idea of the lows being like really punchy and rumbly 808s and you have the mids busy with growls and drums. Like if you had a punchy kick for mids/attack and a nice beefy 808 rumble as well.
I just realized what this sort of reminds me of. The trap/dubstep vibe def has the same vibe as Purple Lamborghini by Skrillex. Sort of like the trap beat + 808 with some growls on the off beats. I'd def love to see more trap dubstep on here.
ADDED SOME FILTER TO THE BASS, ADDED A FILTER TO AKE THE KICK FATTER AND MORE PROMINENT. IM STILL CLIPPING A LOT SO I THINK I HAVE MORE TWEAKS TO MAKE, BUT THIS IS MY PROGRESS SO FAR
Im glad you like it lol thanks for the compliment. I couldn't have done any of it without your awesome idea in the first place. Be proud of it. A remake of the Mona Lisa is still just a remake <3
give the kick is a sharper transient and distort it a bit. give the bassline a boosted lowpass around 5kHz and heavily distort it and lowpass again around 8kHz. on the vocals put the atmosphere after the distortion cuz its coming across as unclear. make the sub louder. i love how driven wide and glitchy that snare is. the mono snare is too quiet. the little psysquare thing in the background needs a lowpass and some reverb. the square on the left needs some highpassing. lowpass master.
ive started doing this and I can already hear the difference and see it in my readouts!! thank you so much, I'll repub when I think things are completely adjusted
this is awesome feedback thank you so much im going to try my best to implement things a step at a time so i dont mess it up. thank you so so much for taking the time to type out that comment <3
