Hi everyone! I'm new to audiotool, and this is my first track! I absolutely love this song and I figured my first track would be a cover of an already great song!
All the credit goes to Icebox and Sim for the instrumental and lyrics. In my cover, I just added the following:
holy fucking shit. That guitar solo. Those amazing as fuck vocals. Your first track? Sounds like you've been producing for over half a decade. People should see this. And I mean, REALLY see this. You're new blood.
WOW Holy crap thanks man!! Well I've been playing guitar for about 5 years and singing for about 3 years, but yeah I'm sorta new to producing (maybe like a month or two). Any advice you have about getting out there to do like collabs and stuff like that??
Seriously man, I've been listening to your music nonstop for like the past month. That means so much coming from you :DDDD
@Guac
That being said, I think the FL interface is very beginner/intermediate friendly. the recording for live instruments is a bit clunky but nothing too bad. and the price, all things considered, isnt bad
i personally think it's 100% a preference thing. Depends on who you ask. FL was what I got hooked on however many years ago so ive never used anything else. If you are looking into what DAW to get, best thing i can say is check out youtube for people who have had experience with more than one DAW
I recorded in FL studio. The song is Valentine from Icebox here on audiotool. i recorded the guitar through a focusrite audio interface. vocals were recorded using my microphone through the same interface
