I'm not really good at explaining things, especially texture lol.
Perhaps a more prominent bass line would help with filling up the atmosphere. Whole song definitely needs some sidechain compression so things dynamically blend in with eachother more, especially the vox. Reverb + highpass on the synths might make them sound less plain. I love all the layered elements though, it all sounds super melodically intricate. So much going on, and it has a pretty unique drum pattern
