I struggled with this one, couldnt get it right, but lost interest, i will probably fix it if i can be bothered.

Transitions are crap, never got round to producing it.

  • Cheers, but im not that happy with it, thanks for listening though

  • there's nothing wrong with this

  • cheers for that, ill have a look

  • heres where to find the filter. its not just useful for what im saying...im just throwing an idea out there. but if you dont know where to find it, take a look at this.

  • well, all it does is basically lower the frequency...same thing as a slope, essentially. its just that with any sort of distorted bass, you can lower the frequency w/ the filter and add like a lot of reverb or something to it, maybe a flanger effect, and then just have it play really long notes and it creates a really dark atmosphere. you dont have to do it, but its cool for dark ambient music.

  • Yeah, i know what you mean, i was spending stupids amount of time on it, rejigging it all the time but never actually improving it.

I just published it to get it out of my drafts :-)

I'll take a peak at the filter cutoff, although, im not skilled, so you might need to tell me how to do that? ;)

  • lol at that picture

  • very cool bass! i do agree that it isnt your best; i like your ambient stuff better, but its still good to experiment. what i would do is just listen to each synth individually and try to think what you could do with it. like that bass; if you just lowered the filter cutoff, it would be a very good dark-ambient drone-like thing. it isnt a fail, it just isnt your best. even so, nice work! :)

  • Pick it to pieces, this ones a fail.
