There are some weird dissonances in the synth sounds. I know sometimes dissonance is used for effect, but usually the dissonance follows certain chord or mode schemes. This kinda sounds like you found a few tacks you liked and loaded them into the effects pedal without regard for musical sense as far as chords, modes, and other theory goes. You should fine tune some of the tuning/ pitch of a few of your tones, as after applying effects they lost their intonation. Don't get me wrong, it's good. I like it. But it needs some cleaning up.
thanks for replies to headphone question! i was interested to know because i recently used my friends pc with his quite good room speakers and i couldn't believe the difference in the e.q / mixdown (general sound) between that and the headphones i use!! so... Olaf, i wouldn't concern yourself to much because there is going to be quite alot of variation in everyones 'tech' anyway! as long as your happy with it, ya know! :)
@olaf
are you in montreal ? ..hehe i am not far from you if... i go to bromont each saturday :) whit friends hope to see you there maybe one day later master olaf :)
I use my headphones to start with but when I'm doing the final volume control and eq-ing I use my big-ass speakers to make sure it sounds right as I think that my headphones lose alot of mid-freq sounds.
