  For drums you will always want the 909 for the sort of music you're going for, you just need to learn to compress it and eq it properly.

  I haven't had a SO die on me, but I've had just about everything else. It's horible but it'll make you a stronger person if you let it.

  For your drums, add some reverb or tube ...or both. That's for a start, then you can explore other ways to make better sounding drums, but they arent bad in this track. Nice work man, keep your head up :]
