Hey, just an idea how you can get started with this project. Perhaps you could create 2-3 tracks with just a simple sine wave and create melodic lines in different registers. Later you can refine your sound design and add loops when you're ready. This way you can focus on music from the very beginning and get better idea what kind of sounds you need.
