Hey, Pavment! So There's this music hosting YouTube Channel called Speedcore Network (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpZLr9TNY7KQvYUXRzgaH3w?&ab_channel=SpeedcoreNetwork) that hosts music that's over 200 BPM. I've had some of my tracks featured here before and was thinking of letting them feature MDM.
btw, do you share your music anywhere outside of Audiotool? Speedcore Network likes to put links to the artist's Facebooks Soundclouds and what not in the video desc.
Would you mind if I post this on my soundcloud? I also have a really edgy/trolly music video in mind for it that I wanted to post on my youtube channel.
Well, I haven't added my part of the description yet. I was thinking of switching the kick out for something punchier, but that would be quite a fundamental change to the track at this point.
Holly crap you did a lot, I don't know if you want to add more on but I am OK with the length at this point, that Does not mean that I not ok with adding more on.
I got a structure in mind that I want to realize and then there's mixing to do, so it's far from done in my opinion. Good to know your position on this though!
hey Pavement, how did you stretch out the "dirty dan" sample? I tried to make the "sexueal intercourse" sample do the same thing, but couldn't manage and then found that I couldn't do it with the with dirty dan either.
by chopping up the sample into 64 equal parts and then sticking 1/64 spaces between the parts and then copying the entire pattern and shifting it right by 1/64 so that the copy would fill all of the spaces between the original splices. Trust me, your method is much better.
Eh, I'dunno if I agree with that. I'm all for grittiness, but clashing tempos just hurt my ears. (in a bad way) Also I thought it was called a Metal Dan? I flubbed when I called it a "Steely Dan" and tried to correct it. Though if we are going to call this "WE STEELY DANNED MIKU" then I propose we sample "Do It Again" by Steely Dan. If we don't well... fuck it; I wanna do that any way now!
FUCK TEMPO SYNC it adds to the gritty atmosphere, and if we really have to we can always chop up the vocals. So I added a harcore jungle(?) section and a buildup to it from the first section, by all means change it around if you want to. I also changed the font of the cover since its the ONLY FUCKING FONT THAT HAS THE LONG 'A' GLYPH (lazy ass font creators).
