I made this song about 20 weeks ago and it's been sitting in my drafts ever since :D I didn't release it because it has some quite serious mixing issues (any advice would be much appreciated!).
Anyway, I'm releasing now because it's been three months since my last track and I feel I need to do something (and I think the bass at the drop has potential).
Thanks very much dudes xD (link is only visible to registered users) I would make the drop much louder, but the thing starts to clip like hell when I raise the level even a little, unfortunately :)
This is sick :) I've seen your name around often, but never clicked on your name and listened to your stuff :) It's epic! Magnificent intro and epic drop!
Thanks guys :D
@Abstract
- thanks very much for the advice, I'll make sure to put it to use :)
@CallyKay
- yeah, the name is kind of random. I thought the bass sounded quite growly, so I just started looking for a carnivore of some description with a cool Latin name :D
I didn't even see the picture and i was like "lupus means wolf.." i am so smart! This is cool but misleading... there is no wolf howling any where.... great song!
xon snare 15 works for me, especially 0.2 octaves up. that bass is massive though. the swing of the track sounds kinda flux pavilioney, i like it! this has great melodic capabilities, im glad to see you publishing :D now i gotta do that lol, just been too damn busy.
Thanks Pyrophillia, I might try and improve the snare at some point, I always have trouble with snares :) As for the speech, I couldn't possibly get rid of it, it's my favourite bit :D
Glad that you finally finished this. With a slightly beefier snare this track could become sublime (also I'm not too sure on the speech sound bite used - I just don't find that it prepares you for the drop due to the sheer irrelevance of the matter discussed). Good job though
