  Hmm the effect I wanted was to make the percussion sound as fluid (literally) as possible with a basic bass rhythm to make it easier to follow. I kind of hear what you mean though: more variation would be nice

  (link is only visible to registered users) I mean you might have a little more rhythm to the percussion. It kinda feels like a rotating wheel of sounds as it is. Does that make sense? Maybe that's what you wanted, but it feels like the percussion would benefit from some syncopation.
