Zir0h: This track started with an amazing idea WOLFEYE had of making a track inspired by 'Animals' by Martin Garrix, which was a favorite between us both. We tried to recreate some bitchin' plucks, combined with big room bass and crispy squirrel bits for an overall party/workout feel. Over the course of a year, that idea shaped into this final product. I think we're both really proud of it and I'm really grateful to work with WOLFEYE (as always) as he is such an inspiring artist, and very fun to work with!
We are pleased to finally release this and will be submitting it for the Holiday song contest.
Personally for me, this track gets me motivated and driven, and reminds me of the way I felt when I went to New York and saw visited my first concert/festival weekend. All the fun I had seeing all new things I'd never seen, experiencing things I'd never experienced. It creates this pit of good feeling in the center of your chest and that's the feeling this song gives me.
The kickdrum needs more body in it. Maybe some overdrive would help it in the mix. As for the plucky lead at

when it's all reverby it sounds really loud so I would lower it a little bit. Overall though there isn't a lot of low end instrumentation in the drop but that's okay because the powerful stuff like your leads, plucks and also your percussive elements like your snare and clap are supplying that energy. So I've gotta give this a 7/10. But EQ'ing the frequencies that are taking up room
You could also create some separation between the instruments by using high pass filtering. It will carve out so you can hear them better. Take any of the tools that have a high pass filter so you can do that specifically.
