As per joVee's request, ive done a tutorial on deathstep. lmk what genre u guys want next!

start with a distorted sub bass

next create a huge gritty and distorted bass (yes i made it in AT) with filler basses (i made one of the 2 in AT. the other was a sample). for the deathstep feel use a lot of triplets.

next add an eerie pattern of horns and choir chants

add a simple dubstep hat loop
-
make a heavily saturated drum loop. layer white noise on the kick so that it punches through the mix. use reverse kicks for more impact.
