Something about the reverb in the very beginning has a very uncomfortable psychoacoustic effect. The drop really comes out of nowhere and sounds very familiar. I could swear I've heard this exact drop before. The transitions are very out of the blue. Those growls are especially out of nowhere. The synth design for the drops is simultaneously too big and too thin, it's hard to explain. It has a very loud in your face feel but it still just sounds like two voices with some sdetune.
