Imagine:
The person you've always dreamed of, the person you have longed for your entire life, the person who you would die for. They've just been in an accident. They are in emergency surgery, you drove an hour to the hospital and upon your arrival nobody had any answers to your questions. You're left stunned, in dismay, completely heartbroken. There is nothing you can do, there is nothing anyone but the surgeon in that room with them can do.

The surgeon walks out... there was nothing they could do.
