There's not enough going on here. It needs more layers. The drums for example are literally just the kick and snare. Try adding more percussion. Even just having a hat on the 5th and 13th step in the sequence would work. Since the drums you have are heavier, maybe cymbal crashes or ride cymbals would work better.
