Tbh, Shel hella sexy at making tracks that give a vibey, yet still urban feel to them. And then you mix that in with trap producers such as KXD, $HINO, CYRO and such, you get a very mixed set of genres, and yet, they all work so well.
@shelly boo
, just keep doing you man. Usually with my synths, which are ass, I just play around until I find the right pitch or octave, and go from there. In your case, for more complex synths, I'd say do the same, until you get a pattern in your head. Usually producers/artists are able to work something from nothing. I'm sure you can do great.
this is pretty solid. I'd have to say my favorite parts were the lofi portions of the track. If I would have to give a critique, then I'd say that it was lacking in dubstep. I'd suggest making the track a little faster and adding lots of swingy tricky ass beats and maybe a sub bass as well (kinda like Skream). but over all the track was very original; good job bruv.
Thank you for your feedback! i agree though, i have no idea how shel managed to pull off all 3 genres at once, just proves he even more of a synth god than we thought. (i only made the lofi drums and did some light mixing and arranging when this track was still in its very very very alpha stages). most of this track goes to shel, imo the synths make it very enjoyable.
