Really good job on this. There are a fw things I would mention though. The chords have a quite sharp resonance in the upper mid-range that could be lowered a bit. The arp that comes in at 00:57 could perhaps use somilar treatment in some frequencies. And also the shaker sounds a bit harsh in the high-end to me (somewhere around 16k). But I really like the stops in the rhythm and the clap. All of the elements are pretty clean and nicely present in the mix though, good job on that.
Wanted to say a few things. First and foremost the piano is amazing and I had to do something very special and dear to my heart to it. Secondly, I really enjoyed making the chords and also all the little ear candy in the percussion. Lastly, I had a lot of fun and I am not worried if I win or even if I'm a honorable mention. This song is special to me because I feel very related to the emotions of how the original sample plays throughout the song. So yeah, I hope you all enjoy and good luck to everyone!!

The beginning sounds really cool/beautiful to me and Idk why... It just does. :)
0:19 makes it even better. Those are them "get ready to vibe" chords lol.
The drop was ok from the first few seconds I've listened to, but it got better as it progressed with the rhythm changing up every now and then.
And the end is just as good as the beginning.
I like this track a lot overall. It brings up good memories whilst listening to it.

0:19 I would filter in the chords with a lowpass
0:48 maybe its just me but it sounds like u added the piano in there which gives mix a warmer feel to me
1:25 I would use a very sharp lowpass or a peak to cut out or lower the highs in the 10k-20k range of the arp..? that starts playing more there
Ok overall, really beautiful track although I never listened to the original so... Idk what is the sample or what u used from the original.
