I'm glad you guys made the instrumental and didn't use a sample loop. As for the beat itself, IMO the kick is a bit too loud, but everything else is fine. Not bad.

The beat doesn't seem really organized and quite messy sound wise. For example there's no transitions in between parts. There's too many fx samples at random parts. The drums are repetitive, the mix is rough, and the bass is offkey. so it's a lot for you to fix. but this is a good attempt. I like the overall feel
