Guiding Principles:
1. Honor the Composer and the composition. Don't radically change the composition. Add things that enhance the composition. Brian Tyler's a bloody brilliant composer. Don't presume to think you can rewrite it and make it better. Above all, don't fuck it up.
2. Use the existing stems wherever possible. There's lots of awesome stuff in there that just needs to come out. E.g., check out the electronic crackly bits and the Oud. Oh, and whoever is the drummer is a god.
3. Be true to the genre. This is an anthem for gamers. What do gamers love? Sci-Fi. Fantasy. Space. Action. Brian wrote scores for the Avengers and Thor, so this composition was just screaming for the same kind of treatment.
3. Pump up the emotion. Again, it's an anthem. It needs to make people want to stand up and pump their fists in the air.
