This is exactly the same chord progression in Father Ocean by Ben Böhmer.
You should listen to it, u’ll like it I guess.
Anyway, I think you’ve got some really good ideas about melodies and composition but you definitely don’t use enough synths and effects in my opinion. I mean it’s just a matter of taste. Maybe you wanna sound chiptune and it would make sense of course. But I’m pretty curious to see what you can do with detune, delays, reverb etc. Good track m8
