When I do my 303 lines, I loop it over and over to get a few patterns down (kinda improv like) and then see what I can piece together from those patterns. Then I fill in any patterns that are needed for transitions/flow.
Also your words inspire me greatly. Thank you so much dronealpha. I never really consider myself as a proper musician.

: I do everything now on the site typically on the fly...meaning I loop a section and work through my phrasing for each device. There's voicing concerns as well in that I sometimes will change which device plays what phrase because it's got better sound (kind of like picking a sax over a trumpet for different parts).
it's always good to listen to the tracks like this one, which are so obviously created by real musicians. yes arche3.0 can program and produce; but in addition to and behind all that is his playing and composing. it comes through in moonbeams of real live sound musical music. great work as always. do you prepare your 303 lines directly in the programming or do you test them on a real instrument first?
