Well it depends on, what your musical stylings are, like mine electronic and I use the synths with a lot of effects to create pads and leads, the bass as well, but the thing is you have to have had an understanding of how music flows, but a lot of artists skip that, now you could learn to feel musical note and their relations by just toying around with sounds
