I often have that problem. I come up with good tracks very often, then when I finish them its a few days since my last publish so I leave at least a week in between in order to get mnaximum amount of comments and to be noticed
I think I can match up with AT, but I find myself publishing too quickly in order to get positive feedback. I guess I need to be ignored on AT or criticized more so I will push harder to make quality
yeah, I agree AT in some ways is very limited but sometimes I feel like it can do alot still. I love AT and yeah its hard to match up with those big guys out there (too me your one of them) I love AT cauyse its free and other stuff can be expensive. btw this is very... interesting not my type of music atall. some of it is really interesting though!!
For me it isn't the tools, but community. Like I said, I am an outsider looking in here. I will contribute to review tracks and make stuff here normally. I am not growing here though. People are always nice and I need help getting my composition structure up to par with the big guys out there.....well big to me lol
I love AT...sure its very limited, one can do a lot of styles though it does have all the trimmings for Techno and Acid (vintage drum machines, 303, analog-ish synth).
I would still release stuff here even after i get more stuff...
I don't feel I fit in well on AT, so I am also starting work on learning other systems. It is hard to find my sound though. We shall see. I may just keep publishing cheap tracks like this from now on ;P
I do need to find fans though. I may pay for a mini lastfm radio campaign in hopes of getting associated with some bigger artists. But first I am checking on a review of the track to see if there is any appeal.
