Love the melodies in this! I think the beat (especially kick and snare) hit a little hard wich spoils the lovely soft textures and soundscape imho.
I think it's because the synths are pretty mellow and the drums all have quite a lot of high end. Maybe you could try dulling them down a bit with some low pass.

I think that the 2nd and 3rd note of the bassline are off key, maybe is just my perception, and yes, like Celcius says, at 0:16 the pad comes suddenly, it will sounds better maybe with a volume automation. Annnd the drums sounds a little repetitive. But I like it <3, keep doing this stuff.

the 'drop' comes in suddenly because it is started on the second eighth note of the measure. This is intentional
The pad at 0:16 seems to come on a bit suddenly, perhaps it could use a swell or fade in for a smoother transition. Drums sound nice and crisp, but a bit repetitive. Liking the slow progression. Bass sounds a bit airy without a sub underneath it, but it depends on taste.
