    this is super cool. i’m not a huge fan of the key changes since they sound like they were just kinda thrown in and don’t make a ton of sense, at least to my ear. but overall super neat and really well done chiptune

      At least I think they're tritone subs. They might be a different kind of mixture. But they work really well.

      Those aren't even key changes. They're tonicizations that flow as expected. There's nothing to pivot from because the way they move is to a chord that is already in key as a tritone substitution. The tonicization just holds it in that suspended state longer. The only true key change makes total sense in context.

    Ugh the composition at 2:30 is phenomenal , amazing!

    The almost random key changes to throw me off just a bit, but given the vibe of this all I think it actually fits it very well in the end
