interesting. love the lead too along with the pad
so cool... take a pad, and sidechain its reverb... with ITSELF. makes all the difference. There would be no epicness in this pad at all without it. Open it up to see what i mean!!!

Errr... I only know I split it up and put one sound through a reverb and compressor... and that I find that sound super cool... :)

I opened it up and it's just layers upon layers of effects. I guess the special thing would be how you allow the pad to duck itself.. which could result in some cool stuff. But I think it would better with a melodic riff than a pad to get the full effect. But of course, I am just nay-saying right now and that is not something I usually do. Keep working at it dood!

Hmm.. you aren't really doing what I think you think you are doing. It's basically layering the same synth over itself but just side chaining the one with the reverb.. it adds noise but since your bass drum is so loud it ducks the entire pad anyway. What you are trying to accomplished I don't this is accomplishable with the reverb pedal in this case, especially since you cannot remove the source sound from an effect pedal with the effects still being heard.
