This morning I set out to do something totally different than my usual sound. I feel I may be guilty of the scrubstep syndrome (thanks Uprising lol) I had to break the cycle and try something new. To my surprise, this is what came out. I'm pretty proud of this one as it is 100% me.
No FX, No Samples. Simplicity at it's finest.
Big thanks go out to all those who are saving presets for the rest of us to try out. I always tweek them to my liking, but they are a huge help, keep it up :)
Thanks Uprising, and no I didn't take what you said negatively. It just made me think, and I wanted to try something different, something a bit more unique.
at the beginning of my description i exempt people who are learning dub step :) don't let what i say keep you doing what you love to do because chances are if you love it and you care then that alone keeps you from being a poser :)
there are some Great melodies here Nice Jerb hehe the Whole Scrub step thing is just me hating on people who have no aspirations in music at all and just want to copy already popular music into samples and paste it on audio tool and say look at me im cool, chicks dig me please ..
Wow, thanks everyone!
@Perspective
- Your preset is the second sound to come in. "Perspective Sine Acid" on the HB. @ZOD4X - Thanks, and I get what you're saying, Uprising has helped and given me tips in the past. What he said motivated me to do something different, if anything it has helped me break the norm.
@Comatoast
- Thanks, appreciate it.
and again your track is cool man but never let what someone says stop you from doing what you like..... and also props for the fact you made a track that shows who you are and what you like :)
and i read what he said if anything i think he is saying something like this to make ppl try harder to break against the current and to truly learn music im not sure if your buddy buddy with him on here but he is a very nice guy and is always willing to help
DUDE ok first off i love the track but dont let what Uprising turn you off from dubstep he was only saying which im sure he can explain better that some ppl make tracks and think they really got something good a few girls say ohhhh wow and then they never try to get any better and besides Uprising has a style like no other man i make dubstep and my shit is nowhere close to being as good as his
is my preset the bass or the glidey kinda synth? very nice track man. I think it could benefit from the use of the machiniste to create a richer sound, but I get that you're going for the no sample thing. Keep it up man. Following :)
