what a throwback ~
I was feeling nostalgic, so I came back to our vault of drafts and found this awesome damn-near-finished beauty. The majority of its makers haven't touched in over a year, therefore it is still a wip. Maybe if we spam their soundclouds, they may just come home for the holidays and finish it ;)

I finished third year of uni last week so I've got a lot more time for this account now.

and yeah, it was the rasselbock on the drums mixer I was talking about, as for the bass I can see the sense in side-chaining that. :)

haha, don't worry just trying to keep things organised here. A lot of drafts on this account become quite messy quite quickly. Feel like I need to be the drill-sergeant kicking you all into shape and getting the best out of everyone. :)

i also added a very subtle exciter on the marimba/kalimba/harp whatever just to bring out the mids a little bit more, i dont think its causing any troubles unless u think it makes it too crispy...i think thats about it...i dont know what really goes on with bouncing stuff but ive always had bad experiences with the sound quality going down, idk why...but if u have ur ways @Tyburn then thats cool :)

...to hear a difference, but it depends if you really want the bass to come through or not and i think its fine so ima delete it...the rasselbock on the percussion, i dont know maybe we could do something with it? ill keep it for now unless nobodys gonna use it...and im working with the limiter off, cant hear any clipping so im gonna leave it that way.

ill just record everything i change/figure out/resolve/whatever here...the reverb on the AUX of the minimixer for the harp is unnecessary...the rasselbock at the very bottom is speeding down the harp, i didnt add that but i think its ok imo (its what you are first hearing)...there is a sidechain from the bass to the percussion, i just didnt have the ratio and threshold strong enough

organization was bad...compressors, idk whats up with that, but i did see something with stereoenhancers on the bass and there was like 4 of them in a row?? idk whats with that...reverb i hear u there and idk about that rasselbock, i mightve been using it for...something...???...lol i havent touched this in a while, ill take a look at it. :)
