Waaaaaay to much sub man. It's like 20db too loud. A little trick with tracks that duck this hard, split the line you're ducking into frequency bands and put each of those into its own compressor. This allows you to adjust the attack more finely, and helps avoid a really unsettling psychoacoustic effect when you subconsciously recognize that the bass shouldn't duck as quickly or as hard as the highs
I think this is because we process this as the sound of someone boxing our ears out or shoving us underwater, under a blanket, or some other thing that blocks out all but the lowest of lows in our hearing suddenly. The rasselbock work is really neat though. Reminds me that i have a similar track laying around somewhere that i might want to brush off and clean up.
