Edit: lowered bass in mix, filtered crash and increased reverb, decreased resonance on percussion.

    @Perspective that was, to an extent, the point. The kick is one 16th longer than a standard 4 on the floor kick, and therefore has an erratic sounding rhythm. However, my intention was to reduce this confusion as the kick comes on with both that rhythm and the 4 on the floor rhythm together, as well as with the percussion, to some degree.

    I'm a bit confused by what the rhythm is in this. I mean I have a little bit of a clue with the background percs, but I'm really having to listen close for them, maybe make them louder in the beginning and then again when the lowpass comes off the bass. Other than that, this sounds pretty damn good, especially the tonematrixy melody.
