  • Some samples you've used like the sax aren't at their natural bpm so they're a little out of tune, but that's easily fixed by using the pitch delay pedal. Set feedback to 0 and level to 100 and then you can use the pitch knob to tune the sample. It introduces a short delay, but if both delay time knobs are turned all the way to the left, then you only need to bring the sample forward by 1/16 on the timeline to compensate. Thanks for the sc follow my guy!

  • I mostly agree with Goon on the samples. They are quite out of tune and perhaps you need to change their BPM/Pitch by adjusting them slightly either by changing the length of it directly, or using the pitch delay technique that Goon suggested. One thing I could add is that if you dont want to change the sample length and preserve the og pitch you can switch the playback mode of the sample to timestrech. The disadvantage is that the sample rate changes, which means (1/2)

    • Thank you again

    • (2/2) ...that if the bpm of the track is a lot slower or faster you can get unwanted artifacts as the samples of the sample either overlap or have short spaces in-between. Another thing Id point out is that the sample at 00:08 is a bit too loud. Otherwise, the bass and drums are nicely groovy and the chords are really nice.
